مثال آخر:

• Constant: He received constant criticism from his boss. (تلقى انتقادات ثابتة من رئيسه.) The criticism was ongoing and frequent.

• Continuous: She worked continuously for eight hours. (عملت بشكل متواصل لمدة ثماني ساعات.) While she worked for eight hours, there might have been short breaks for water or a restroom visit, but the work itself was mostly uninterrupted.

لاحظ الفرق: "Constant" يدل على استمرارية بلا انقطاع، بينما "continuous" يسمح بفترات توقف قصيرة لا تؤثر على المفهوم العام للاستمرارية.
