ઘણીવાર અંગ્રેજી શીખતી વખતે આપણે એવા શબ્દોનો સામનો કરીએ છીએ જેનો અર્થ લગભગ સરખો જ હોય છે, પણ તેમનો ઉપયોગ થોડો અલગ રીતે થાય છે. "Abundant" અને "Plentiful" એવા જ બે શબ્દો છે. બંનેનો અર્થ "પુષ્કળ" કે "વધારે પ્રમાણમાં" થાય છે, પણ તેમના ઉપયોગમાં સૂક્ષ્મ તફાવત છે. • Abundant: The forest was abundant with wildlife. (જંગલ વન્યજીવોથી ભરપૂર હતું.) This sentence emphasizes the sheer richness and overflow of wildlife.

• Plentiful: There were plentiful apples on the tree. (ઝાડ પર પુષ્કળ સફરજન હતા.) This sentence simply states that there was a large quantity of apples.

• Abundant: The river had an abundant supply of fish. (નદીમાં માછલીઓનું પુષ્કળ પ્રમાણ હતું.) Here, "abundant" highlights the large and possibly overflowing supply.

• Plentiful: We had plentiful food at the party. (પાર્ટીમાં આપણી પાસે પુષ્કળ ખાવાનું હતું.) This emphasizes the sufficiency of the food.

શબ્દોના ઉપયોગમાં થતા આ નાના ફેરફારો પર ધ્યાન આપવાથી તમારી અંગ્રેજી વધુ સુધરેલી લાગશે.
