• Remain: The building remained undamaged after the storm. (તોફાન પછી પણ ઇમારત બિન-ક્ષતિગ્રસ્ત રહી.) Here, the state of the building is described as unchanged.

• Stay: We stayed at a hotel near the beach. (અમે બીચ પાસે એક હોટલમાં રહ્યા.) This highlights the location of their accommodation for a period.

મોટા ભાગે, જો તમને "continue to be" નો અર્થ આપવો હોય તો "remain" અને જો કોઈ ચોક્કસ સમયગાળા માટે ક્યાંક રહેવાની વાત હોય તો "stay"નો ઉપયોગ કરો.
