• They transport passengers by bus. (ಅವರು ಬಸ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರನ್ನು ಸಾಗಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.) This involves a system or method of moving many people.

• I carried my baby in my arms. (ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಮಗುವನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ತೋಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊತ್ತೊಯ್ದೆ.) Again, this is a direct, personal act of carrying.

• The train transports people from city to city. (ರೈಲು ನಗರದಿಂದ ನಗರಕ್ಕೆ ಜನರನ್ನು ಸಾಗಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.) A larger-scale movement of people via a vehicle.
