• Patient: He patiently waited for the bus for an hour. (ಅವನು ತಾಳ್ಮೆಯಿಂದ ಒಂದು ಗಂಟೆ ಬಸ್‌ಗಾಗಿ ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು). The focus is on his ability to wait without complaint.

• Tolerant: He is tolerant of his neighbor's loud music. (ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ನೆರೆಹೊರೆಯವರ ಜೋರಾಗಿ ಸಂಗೀತವನ್ನು ಸಹಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ). The focus is on his ability to endure the noise without anger or complaint, even though it's annoying.
