“Brilliant” and “genius” နှစ် စကားလုံး ဟာ အင်္ဂလိပ်လို တော်တဲ့ လူ တွေကို ဖော်ပြတဲ့ စကား လုံး တွေ ဖြစ်ပေမယ့် သူတို့ နှစ်ခုရဲ့ အဓိပ္ပါယ် ကတော့ sedikit berbeda ပါ။ “Brilliant” ဆိုတာက အရမ်း တော်တယ်၊ ထူးချွန် တယ်၊ လင်းလက် တယ် ဆိုတဲ့ အဓိပ္ပါယ် ပါ။ “Genius” ကတော့ ပိုပြီး ထူးချွန် တယ်၊ အရမ်း ဉာဏ်ရည် ထက်မြက် တယ်၊ တခြား လူတွေ လုပ် လို့ မရတဲ့ ကိစ္စ တွေ ကို ပြီးမြောက်အောင် လုပ်နိုင်တဲ့ လူမျိုး ကို ခေါ်ပါတယ်။

ဥပမာ ကြည့်ရအောင် -

• Brilliant: “She gave a brilliant presentation.” (သူမ က ထူးချွန်တဲ့ စကားတင်ပြမှု တစ်ခု လုပ်ခဲ့တယ်။) This sentence describes someone who is exceptionally skilled at public speaking. The skill is impressive and notable, but doesn't necessarily imply groundbreaking, original thought.

• Genius: “Einstein was a genius.” (အိုင်းစတိုင်း ဟာ ထူးချွန်တဲ့ ပုဂ္ဂိုလ် တစ်ယောက် ဖြစ်တယ်။) This sentence describes someone who made exceptional contributions to a field. It refers to someone whose intelligence and innovative thinking are profoundly influential.

“Brilliant” ကို ပုံမှန် ပို သုံးနိုင်ပြီး “Genius” က ပို ချီးမွမ်း တဲ့ စကားလုံး ပါ။ ဒါပေမယ့် ဒီစကား နှစ်လုံး ရဲ့ အသုံးပြုပုံ က စကားပြောတဲ့ အခြေအနေပေါ် မူတည်ပါတယ်။
