Prepare နှင့် Ready ဆိုတဲ့ English စကားလုံးနှစ်လုံးရဲ့ ကွာခြားချက်ကို ကြည့်ရအောင်။ Prepare ကတော့ တစ်ခုခုကို ပြင်ဆင်၊ chuẩn bị လုပ်ဖို့ လုပ်ရမယ့် ကိစ္စတွေကို ကြိုတင် စီစဉ်တာကို ဆိုလိုပါတယ်။ Ready ကတော့ တစ်ခုခုကို လုပ်ဖို့ ပြင်ဆင်ပြီး ပြီးစီးသွားပြီ ဖြစ်တာကို ဆိုလိုပါတယ်။

ဥပမာ-

• I am preparing for the exam. (ကျွန်တော်/ကျွန်မ စာမေးပွဲအတွက် ပြင်ဆင်နေပါတယ်။) - This sentence means you are in the process of getting ready. You are not yet ready.

• I am ready for the exam. (ကျွန်တော်/ကျွန်မ စာမေးပွဲအတွက် အသင့်ပြင်ပြီးပါပြီ။) - This sentence means you have finished your preparations and are ready to take the exam.

• We need to prepare dinner. (ကျွန်တော်တို့ ညစာ ချက်ဖို့ ပြင်ဆင်ရမယ်။) - This means we need to start cooking, gathering the ingredients, etc.

• Dinner is ready. (ညစာ အသင့်ဖြစ်ပြီ။) - This means the dinner is cooked and ready to be served.

Prepare က လုပ်ငန်းစဉ်ကို ဆိုလိုတာဖြစ်ပြီး Ready က ပြီးစီးပြီးသား အခြေအနေကို ဆိုလိုတာပါ။ ဒါကြောင့် စကားလုံးနှစ်လုံးရဲ့ အဓိပ္ပာယ်ကို သေချာ နားလည်ဖို့ လိုပါတယ်။
