Place the flowers in a vase. (මල් පෝච්චියක තබන්න.) The flowers are placed within a container.
Insert a coin into the vending machine. (විකුණුම් යන්ත්‍රයට කාසියක් ඇතුළු කරන්න.) The coin goes into a narrow slot.
Place your order at the counter. (ඔබේ ඇණවුම කවුන්ටරයේ තබන්න.) You are placing your order at a location.
වචන දෙකේම භාවිතය තේරුම් ගැනීමට මෙම උදාහරණ ප්‍රයෝජනවත් වේ. "Insert" යනු යමක් තවත් දෙයකට ඇතුල් කිරීම සඳහා භාවිතා කරන බවත්, "place" යනු යමක් යම් ස්ථානයක තැබීම සඳහා භාවිතා කරන බවත් මතක තබා ගන්න.
